Project Description

The CurvyChic website design project was initiated to address challenges prevalent in the online fashion industry, particularly concerning the representation of curvy individuals. Our goal was to create a platform that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusivity, and empowers users to embrace their unique style with confidence.

Utilizing a range of design tools including Illustrator, Figma, Google Forms, FigJam, and Photoshop, our team embarked on a comprehensive design strategy guided by the mantra "Curvy Chic: Celebrate your curves, Embrace your style." I aligned my efforts with CurvyChic's business goals of becoming a leading destination for fashionable curvy apparel while fostering inclusivity and empowering confidence.

Throughout the project, I remained focused on our target users: fashion-forward individuals with diverse body types, primarily women aged 18 to 45. By embodying brand values of inclusivity, confidence, and style

By following a design process which included competitive analysis and developing a user persona, I embodied the brand values of inclusivity, confidence, and style. Fairplay Display font and the  color palette I chose imbues the website with sophistication, femininity and warmth. In conclusion, the CurvyChic website design project represents a significant milestone in my journey towards creating a more inclusive and positive environment in the world of fashion.
